FIGURE DRAWING:Drawing the nude model in poses of varying length, using exercises designed to allow focus on each of the necessary skills in turn. Media of the students’ choice. Experienced artists will be working independently, alongside students. FEE (ten sessions): $130 for experienced artists (permission of instructor), $155 for students. Paper supplied at a minimal cost. Classes start September 18th

OIL/ACRYLIC: Basic instruction in composition, colour mixing, and brushwork for beginners, tackling a variety of subjects. More experienced students work independently with consultation and critique. A short session on Art history and appreciation in each class. Choice of oil or acrylic. Advice on purchasing materials given in the first class. FEE (ten sessions): $155 Classes start September 19th

WATERCOLOUR STUDIO: For all levels of experience. Weekly projects designed and adapted for individual learning. Emphasis is on skill development and an understanding of art making --yours and others’. Course will run for 7 weeks. FEE: $175. New students should contact instructor for materials list.

THE DRAWING SESSIONS: For this class students should already have basic drawing skills and want to expand on these. We will be building on the technical aspects of drawing, working from observation, photos and the imagination. This small class will take place in my home on Thursday afternoons from 1-4pm for 7 weeks with a limit of 6 students, cost is $130, starting Septmeber 14th. Call Bob Williams at 902-465-2298.

BASIC DRAWING WORKSHOPS: Exercises designed to provide the means to achieve progress in draughtsmanship outside of the classroom setting. Various media and subject matter. FEE: $40/day

INTRO WATERCOLOR: For those new to watercolour or returning. Explore watercolour’s possibilities and your own creativity  through a variety of projects. Instructors Bob Williams  and Kay Stanfield
Classes begin  Friday, January 20, 1:00-4:00pm for 10 weeks, Cost $175.00 Classes start September 11th
